Do you know that 12 Jyotirlingas are associated with zodiac signs?

A Jyotirlinga or Jyotirlingam, is a devotional representation of the Supreme Lord Shiva. Jyoti means 'shine' and lingam means 'image or sign' of Shiva. Thus Jyotir Lingam means the radiant sign of Almighty Shiva. There are twelve traditional Jyotirlinga temples in India. The Jyotirlinga temples are temples where Shiva appeared as a fiery pillar of light. At all these sites, the primary image is the lingam which initially represents the low and endless pillar pillar, symbolizing the infinite nature of Shiva. The twelve Jyotirlingas are Somnath, Mallikarjuna, Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Kedarnath, Bhimashankar, Vishwanath, Trimbakeshwar, Vaidyanath, Nageshwar, Rameshwar and Grishneshwar. Each of the 12 Jyotirlingas is mapped to one Rashi (zodiac) and the Maharishi advocates that each person has an individual Jyotirlinga
